- To work correctly, the chain and bar of the chainsaw must be lubricated: the chain oil avoids excessive friction which could cause wear and tear, breakages and also damage.

Such a product makes a significant contribution to reducing ecological
pollution. According to the CEC L-33-A-93 test method Stiga Biodegradable
Chain Oil is biodegraded more than 90% within 21 days and it is not
water-soluble. It is rapidly biodegraded in the biologically active upper
reaches of the soil. Compatible with all materials commonly used in chain
saws. Long-term trials in laboratories, test rigs but also harsh practical
conditions showed that the oil had no negative effect on plastics, gaskets,
seals and paint finishes. Moreover, no swelling or hardening was recorded.
Excellent Protection against wear. Its optimum adhesion promotes the
formation of an active lubricating film. Exhaustive testing showed that chain
wear and thus stretching, is significantly reduced even after professional,
full-throttle use
